WARNING: epic blog post contained!!!
In October I popped back to the UK and photographed Andy & Amy’s big day at Headingley Cricket Ground, Leeds. Such a fun wedding (actually, it was frequently hilarious!), huge congratulations and a big thank you to the lovely bride and groom.
Despite the fact that I’m from Liverpool, and from a family of staunch Reds (that’s Liverpool football fans, just in case you don’t already know what a Red is), this was the first Liverpool FC themed wedding I’ve been too – and very accommodating of Sheffield girl, Amy! Red flowers, tables named after Liverpool Legends like Dalglish and Shankly, a heavy spattering of Kop anthems through the reception party…oh, and of course, the Father of the Bride’s bright red socks!
I was there from the early morn to capture the whole bride’s family (and a dog!) getting ready, ceremony, speeches…and still couldn’t put my camera down through the reception party! Hence the EPIC blog post! Anyway, enough of my rambling; sit down, maybe grab a cuppa, give a little caffeinated toast to Mr & Mrs Stevens, and enjoy!
This amazing day was literally a game of two halves (ah, couldn’t resist that pun, sorry) – perfect early autumn weather made for a beautiful wedding day. And a great bunch of party animals made for fantastic celebration in the evening…I don’t think I’ll ever forget Ben’s amazing Napoleon Dynamite dance 🙂
What an amazing day – congratulations Mr & Mrs Stevens!
