I headed to Abu Dhabi for a family photo shoot. Mum Louisa wanted a family shoot to remember baby Jasper’s half birthday (6 months) with a photo session. She was also keen to have something that served as a lasting memory of their time living in Abu Dhabi, so the studio just wasn’t going to cut it.
Although I’ve lived in Dubai for four years, I’ve rarely visited the UAE’s capital emirate – I’m ashamed to say. Luckily, Louisa chose a fabulous location in the Heritage Village, near to Marina Mall. It had a little bit of everything: animals (a huge white camel and a lovely donkey – according to my sister, donkey’s look like scruffy horses, but I liked this one’s kind eyes), traditional stone huts, quaint scenes complete with brilliant white geese (or maybe they were ducks, how do you tell?), a cute bridge over a stream, and a quiet private beach with a backdrop of Abu Dhabi skyscrapers. And – a big plus over here – absolutely no hassle from security! Good job, Louisa!
So we were able to cram in LOADS of photo opportunities in to our 1 hour session. When the little ones were all photo’d out, I grabbed some shots of Pete and Louisa, and Louisa’s mum who was visiting from Australia.
I absolutely love Kirra’s golden curls and Jasper’s killer smile – gorgeous kids!
